Terms of Service

1 Introduction

Welcome to Sikh Cab.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, https://sikhcab.com/, and our cab booking, taxi rental, airport transfer, local transportation, and outstation travel services.

"sikhcab," "we," "us," and "our" Refer to the business operating the website and providing or arranging transportation services.
"Customer," "Passenger," "User," and "you" Refer to any individual accessing our website, submitting a booking request, or using our transportation services.

By accessing our website or requesting or confirming a booking, you agree to comply with these Terms, subject to applicable law.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please refrain from booking or using our services.

2 Scope of Services

Sikh Cab provides or arranges cab booking and taxi rental services, primarily across Punjab and other parts of North India.

Our services may include:

Local city taxi services
One-way outstation cab bookings
Round-trip outstation travel
Airport pickup and drop-off services
Railway station transfers
Intercity transportation
Customised travel and taxi rental arrangements

Services are subject to vehicle availability, route accessibility, operating conditions, applicable permits, and booking confirmation.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue particular services or routes when reasonably necessary, subject to applicable consumer rights and confirmed booking obligations.

3 Booking and Reservation Policy

3.1 Booking Requests

Customers may request transportation through our website, inquiry forms, telephone, WhatsApp, or other authorised communication channels.

When submitting a booking request, customers must provide accurate and complete information, including:

  • Full name
  • Valid contact number
  • Pickup and drop-off locations
  • Travel date and pickup time
  • Number of passengers
  • Preferred vehicle type, where applicable
  • Any additional travel requirements

3.2 Booking Confirmation

Submitting an inquiry or booking request does not automatically guarantee a confirmed reservation.

A booking becomes confirmed only when Sikh Cab communicates acceptance through an authorised channel, such as a telephone call, SMS, WhatsApp, email, or booking confirmation message.

We may contact customers to verify journey details, vehicle availability, and fare information before confirmation.

3.3 Vehicle Availability

Vehicle allocation depends on availability, booking requirements, passenger capacity, and operational conditions.

Where a particular vehicle model is unavailable, we may offer a comparable alternative, subject to customer acceptance where the substitution materially affects the booking.

3.4 Advance Bookings

Customers are encouraged to book in advance, particularly for airport transfers, long-distance journeys, peak travel seasons, and early-morning or late-night departures.

Advance booking does not eliminate the possibility of unforeseen operational disruptions.

4 Fare and Pricing Policy

4.1 Fare Estimates

Fares displayed on our website or communicated by our representatives may be estimates unless expressly identified as final confirmed prices.

The final fare may depend on:

  • Pickup and drop-off locations
  • Total journey distance
  • Vehicle category
  • Journey duration
  • One-way or round-trip selection
  • Seasonal demand and availability
  • Additional services requested
  • Applicable taxes and statutory charges

Customers should review the fare quotation and applicable inclusions and exclusions before confirming a booking.

4.2 Additional Charges

Unless expressly included in the confirmed quotation, additional charges may apply for:

  • Toll taxes and highway charges
  • Parking fees
  • State entry taxes or permit charges
  • Driver night allowances
  • Additional waiting time
  • Extra kilometres beyond the agreed package
  • Additional travel hours
  • Route changes or additional stops
  • Peak-hour or high-demand surcharges, where disclosed

Any applicable charges will be communicated before booking confirmation where reasonably ascertainable.

Charges arising from customer-requested changes during a journey should be explained before the additional service is provided, wherever reasonably practicable.

4.3 Fare Transparency

Sikh Cab aims to communicate applicable fares and additional charges clearly.

Customers may request a fare breakdown before confirming their booking.

We will not intentionally impose undisclosed mandatory charges contrary to applicable consumer protection law.
